This toy is recommended for children between the ages of 2 years and 5 years old. Children younger than that may be tempted to put the food or other accessories in their mouths which may present a choking hazard. Whether playing house or imagining they own their own restaurant, the child will enjoy countless hours in one of this little set.

The great thing about this toy is the fact that not only will the child be able to pretend play and use their imagination, but with such colorful stimulus, they will also be developing thier visual, tactile and fine motor skills. As a result, this model is a great buy for any parent. It is also very easy to assemble. It took our staff about a half hour to complete the assembly process. Because of the small parts involved, though, be sure that your little one doesn’t help with the actual assembly.

Keep in mind that while the age range is up to five on the Chicco Star Kitchen, it’s quite short, so the older your child gets, the harder it will be to play with this one.

They are also light and easy enough to move around from room to room. This can be especially helpful if you have a toddler who you would prefer to watch over while he plays with his favorite toy.
