The KidKraft Red Vintage Wooden Kitchen is so adorable and chic that you will wish that your kitchen looks as good as this one. You’ll think you have gone back in time when you see this very vibrant red retro play kitchen. If you are not old enough to appreciate this style, your parents or grandparents definitely will. At first glance, the shiny red finish and gray and white trim makes this actually look like metal and stainless steel, but it is made from real wood. They have done an amazing job in replicating this era of appliances. While your kids may not appreciate its style, they will definitely love the bright red color, and the fun they will have with their very own KidKraft kitchen. They can let their little imaginations run wild with all of the possibilities this will provide. There will never be a dull moment as long as they can play in their new kitchen.
This KidKraft set really stands out in the crowd of the different models. In our opinion, the design really makes this a winner over many of the others we have reviewed. Maybe we are just a nostalgic bunch, but we absolutely love the look of this. We were so impressed with its looks that we almost forgot that we needed to really check out all the features to give it an honest review. We love that they have combined a vintage look with all of the comfort of modern conveniences, such as a microwave and the water and ice dispenser on the refrigerator. The cordless phone also gives it a very new age look. It has an oven with a little window to look through, a stove top, a sink that can be taken out so it can be cleaned, and a little cabinet below the sink to put the play kitchen toys that they will need to make all their yummy food. They have even thrown in a pot and ladle, and, of course, every little cook needs a red checked apron that color coordinates with their appliances. They are so much fun for kids, and the KidKraft Red Vintage Wooden Kitchen’s design adds even more fun to this.
If you couldn’t tell before, we really cannot say enough good things about the KidKraft Red Vintage Wooden Kitchen. We have had some concerns with other sets we have reviewed because of their height for shorter kids. It is right at 3 feet tall, and this makes it much easier for all kids to reach the microwave that is on the top shelf. We also like that all of the edges on this are rounded, which makes it really safe for the less than careful antics of children. Kids can be quite rambunctious and sharp edges are always a safety concern, but with this one there are no worries. This is made from very sturdy wood, and if the assembly process is done correctly, there should be no problem with it staying together. The assembly process may take awhile because there are a lot of pieces to this, but the instructions are very easy to follow. All of the doors open very easily and stay shut when they are closed. We have really put our seal of approval on this, and we are pretty sure that you will not be disappointed if you decide to buy it.
